Application Development: Work on coding, development, and deployment of Samsclub.com Fulfillment systems. End-to-End AI Solutioning: Work with team owning the lifecycle of Fulfillment lifecycle of Samsclub.com, from ideation to deployment, ensuring robust and scalable production systems. Strong Problem Solving and Enterprise Software Lifecycle Experience is must. Scalability and Reliability: Ensure the scalability and reliability of systems by implementing robust CI/CD pipelines, monitoring solutions, and alerting systems. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with engineers, business, UX and product teams to integrate Different services for Fulfillment Lifecycle. Knowledge Sharing and Mentorship: Guide and mentor team members, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous learning. Solution Design: Assist in designing scalable, distributed software solutions using industry best practices and design patterns. Hands on Experience with development of services in Java on a cloud platform; Exposure to build, CI/CD & deployment pipelines and related technologies like Kubernetes; Exposure to SQL/NoSQL data stores. Hands-on experience in building web-based Java EE services/applications leveraging Kafka, RESTful Web-Services, Spring, Spring boot, Hibernate, Splunk, Caching. Defect Management and Troubleshooting: Track, analyze, and resolve defects using defect tracking tools and methodologies; conduct regression testing and troubleshoot performance and availability issues. DevOps Orientation: Perform complex maintenance procedures and monitor application performance using telemetry and analytics; analyze logs, evaluate change requests, and support continuous improvement initiatives. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent discipline (Master's preferred). 5+ years of experience working in complex technology and data organizations. Deep experience in microservices architecture, and system reliability. Strong cross-functional leadership—ability to connect engineering execution with business KPIs. Preferred Qualifications
Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Software Engineering, or related area. Knowledge of accessibility best practices and WCAG 2.2 AA standards; experience with assistive technologies and integrating digital accessibility in products. Benefits
