About the Role
The Aerospace & Defense Technical Sales Representative plays a key role in driving sales growth and expanding market reach across Indian Industries’ business units. This position combines technical knowledge with sales expertise to effectively promote and sell our products and services. The outside sales representative will support customer relationships in coordination with the Inside Sales team. Responsibilities
Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers in the aerospace and defense sectors Identify new business opportunities and expand Indian Industries’ market presence Negotiate contracts and close deals in alignment with company policies and industry regulations Stay current with industry trends, technological developments, and competitor activity to strategically position our offerings Represent Indian Industries at trade shows, conferences, and industry events to promote brand visibility and generate leads Forecast sales pipeline and report on activities, opportunities, and performance metrics Collaborate with the Inside Sales team to align strategies with overall company growth objectives Assist in gathering market intelligence and customer feedback Qualifications
Must reside in the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex Minimum 5 years of technical sales experience in the aerospace and defense industry Understanding of MIL-STD testing procedures and requirements Familiarity with supply chain logistics and inventory management in aerospace and defense manufacturing Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills Customer-focused with a positive, professional, and proactive attitude Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks Strong analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving capabilities Pay range and compensation package
Base Salary + Commission. Final compensation will be based on experience and skill level. Additional benefits—including paid time off, insurance coverage, and 401(k) eligibility—will be detailed at the time of the job offer. Benefits
