The primary purpose of this role is to drive sales for Lowe's largest regional pro customers at a faster rate than the general population of Lowe's pro customers. This will be accomplished by building relationships with larger Pro customers and leveraging opportunities to deploy product and account management solutions, resulting in sales gains. The Sr. Account Manager will attend tradeshows, conduct jobsite/customer office visits to introduce more product categories, promotional pricing, key product solutions and close sales. What You Will Do
Drive Pro sales for an assigned and prospect portfolio of customers by conducting market research, cold calling, following through on lead generation, and meeting with clients/customers regularly in their place of business, at jobsites and at tradeshows. Schedule regular visits to worksites to determine if additional product is needed, take orders, and work with the store to fulfill the order. During customer meetings negotiate pricing and contract terms to close sales. Conduct district research to identify high-opportunity pro customers to pursue. Develop strategic plans for assigned accounts and coordinate cross-functional efforts to deploy solutions. Collaborate with District Managers and Store Managers to bring services and products to increase pro sales for SAMs customers. Engage with decision makers to conduct reviews, coordinate planning meetings, and participate in vendor-related events as needed. Conduct 12-15 sales calls per week to review products, production schedules, planning, delivery timing, and new product introductions, scheduled 1-2 weeks in advance. Apply a consultative selling strategy to understand customer needs and schedule ongoing follow-ups with sales opportunities. Build strong relationships with District Managers, Store Managers, and Regional leadership. Utilize selling tools and programs to deliver effective solutions for pro customers. Provide weekly updates to District Managers on sales, opportunities, wins, and yearly planned sales. Coordinate with merchandising teams regionally to ensure relevant products for managed accounts. Communicate effectively with Regional Pro Sales Director and Divisional Sales Director. Research and analyze market trends to inform competitive service offerings and programs. Coordinate with customers to align Lowe's processes with the customer's purchasing and accounting systems. Role is an Individual Contributor. Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in business or related field or equivalent experience 3-5 years of relevant professional sales experience Experience selling products and services to strategic accounts and/or B2B selling Experience with CRM technology Preferred Skills/Education
