Responsibilities

Assist physicians in procedure rooms with tasks such as conscious sedation and sterile technique as deemed appropriate.
Deliver comprehensive patient care to patients emerging from general anesthesia and/or sedation, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation in preparation for discharge.
Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing
Active RN license in the state
BLS and ACLS Required
1 year minimum of experience in PACU/acute care/ICU preferred
Cardiac monitored nursing care preferred
Ability to make decisions based on nursing judgment
Able to prioritize and organize workload to meet the needs of patients and the unit
Strong communication skills, verbal and written
