Overview

Peerless Pump Company, a leading USA pump manufacturer, seeks a Salesforce/CRM Platform Administrator to take the lead in improving our Salesforce platform by interfacing with users and teams to gather feedback and design scalable solutions to support our growing business. The ideal candidate will be comfortable implementing scalable solutions for a variety of business tasks while considering best practices. The candidate should enjoy helping support users through training, troubleshooting, and documentation as well as creating new innovative solutions for business challenges. The candidate should have a good understanding of the Salesforce platform and the ability to learn and understand our current platform configuration. They should be comfortable working with team members at all levels of the organization and have experience with change management, data governance, and general Salesforce project management. This position reports to the Director of Engineering and Business Solutions and offers a hybrid work schedule with three days at our Indianapolis, Indiana facility and two days working remotely from home. Platform Management & Maintenance

Maintain the stability, security, and performance of Salesforce and associated environments, including sandbox setup, release updates, and health checks. Configuration & Optimization

Implement and refine system configurations such as flows, fields, page layouts, custom settings, dashboards, reports, and apps to enhance functionality and user experience. User & License Administration

Oversee all aspects of user setup, permissions, profiles, roles, and license management. Training & Adoption

Design and deliver training to empower users, improve adoption, and support ongoing learning with clear documentation and guides. Solution Design & Integration

Collaborate with stakeholders to identify requirements and translate them into scalable solutions, integrating third party tools where needed. Business Process Consultancy

Act as a trusted advisor to internal teams, contributing to business process development and offering strategic input on application enhancements. Roadmap & Communication

Shape the platform roadmap, set priorities, and communicate platform changes effectively across the organization. Support & Continuous Improvement

Resolve user issues, identify areas for improvement, and contribute to a culture of collaboration, quality, and innovation. What do you need to apply?

A bachelor’s or postgraduate technical degree is desired. A minimum of 2+ years of hands-on Salesforce Administration experience with Manufacturing and Sales Cloud. Completed the Salesforce Administrator Certification; additional Salesforce certifications are desired. Familiarity with Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Data Cloud and Experience Cloud are a plus. Competent in applying expertise & technology, analyzing, learning & researching, delivering results & meeting customer expectations and adapting and responding to change. Experience implementing Sales configuration changes, including (but not limited to) assignment rules, fields, page layouts, record types, dynamic layouts, automation, reports and dashboards. Task and deadline focused with a strong work ethic and a proactive approach towards platform enhancement and designing best-practice solutions. Ability to create technical documentation as well as train end users and partners. Experience in change management and data governance. Ability to work well with others and collaborate effectively in a multi-disciplinary team environment.
