SAIC is seeking a Senior Security Specialist to assist the NSWC Crane Multi-Service Advanced Capabilities Hypersonic Test Bed (Mach-TB) Program Security Lead in creating, analyzing, implementing, and updating security policies and procedures for protecting information, personnel, property, facilities, operations, and materials. The ideal candidate will have industrial security experience and familiarity with DoD Security Classification Guides. This position is 100% remote/work from home; candidate must be able to commute to Crane, IN or Huntsville, AL as needed. Location

Responsibilities
Developing a security program and providing recommendations and corrective actions, as required. Enforcing policies for document and access controls, transmission of sensitive information and materials, and related information controls and safeguards. Generating and updating training packages to ensure personnel are informed of security requirements (OPSEC briefings). Collaborating with the Public Affairs Officer (PAO) to review and clear documents for release. Supporting and advising meetings and briefings for events. Understanding participant program Security Classification Guides (SCGs) to provide security guidance to internal and external stakeholders. Providing security guidance and planning for flight test activities. Processing Visitor Access Requests (VARs) and Access Rosters.
Other Duties May Be Assigned To Include
Reviewing annual security training requirements. Assisting with maintenance and processing of Security Information Files. Drafting or preparing documents such as responses to routine inquiries, reports, letters, and related materials. Processing various security-related documentation, including issuance of access and/or identification credentials, and other access control documents. Assisting with response to security incidents. Assisting with Cyber Security Guidance.
Qualifications
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND CLEARANCE
Top Secret clearance required to start with the ability to obtain Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI). US Citizenship Required. Bachelor's degree plus 10+ years’ experience and 5 years of relevant DoD experience. Ability to analyze and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Customer service oriented with strong oral and written communication skills and heavy interface with various customers/stakeholders. Experience writing SOPs, procedures, and processes. Knowledge of DoD guidance on classified materials and handling, destruction and storage, CUI and classification categories. Physical Security knowledge and experience. Information Security knowledge and experience. Flight Test knowledge and experience. DESIRED EXPERIENCE
Prior security role for DoD or Federal Agency. Familiarity with OUSD R&E Hypersonics for Military Systems and Applications Security Classification Guide (SCG). Familiarity with Navy Conventional Prompt Strike SCG.
Target salary range $80,001 - $120,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
