The company is seeking a hands-on Maintenance & Facilities Manager to oversee all aspects of maintenance, repair, and facility operations within a dynamic manufacturing environment. This role is pivotal in ensuring production reliability, equipment efficiency, and plant safety while driving continuous improvement across all maintenance functions. The Role Reporting to the

VP of Operations , the Maintenance & Facilities Manager will lead the maintenance team responsible for machinery, utilities, buildings, and grounds. You’ll manage preventive maintenance programs, capital projects, and ensure compliance with all safety and operational standards. This role requires both technical expertise and the ability to develop people, systems, and processes to support a high-performance culture. Key Responsibilities Oversee repair, maintenance, and installation of production equipment and facility systems to ensure uninterrupted operations. Develop and manage preventive and predictive maintenance programs to maximize uptime. Coordinate with production and quality teams to prioritize maintenance activities aligned with business needs. Plan and execute capital improvement and facility upgrade projects. Lead maintenance personnel and contractors, ensuring adherence to safety, quality, and performance standards. Manage department budgets, track spending, and identify cost-saving opportunities. Implement new maintenance methods and best practices to improve operational efficiency. Ensure compliance with all building codes, environmental regulations, and safety protocols. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related technical field preferred; Trade or Technical certification accepted. 10+ years of experience in maintenance or engineering within a manufacturing or packaging environment - small batch manufacturing is a huge bonus. Experience managing a

multi-shift operation

and leading cross-functional maintenance teams. Strong project management experience, including execution of

capital improvement projects . Proven leadership and team development capabilities. Skills & Attributes Strong technical understanding of production machinery, utilities, and facility systems. Strategic thinker with hands-on problem-solving ability. Skilled in planning, prioritization, and organizational effectiveness. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to collaborate across departments. Committed to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
