We're seeking a Staff Accountant to join our Finance team and support the company's daily accounting operations, financial reporting, and audit processes. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities. You'll focus on Accounts Payable, job costing, reconciliations, tax compliance, and audit support, contributing to the accuracy and integrity of our financial statements.
Salary Range:
$60,000 - $75,000 Annually Schedule:
Full-time | Hybrid Requirements
Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field required. 1+ years of accounting experience (AP, reconciliations, and/or audits) Experience in a project-based or service/construction industry preferred. Proficiency in accounting software (NetSuite, Sage, Ramp, or similar). Familiarity with tax filing or expense management platforms is a plus. Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Key Responsibilities
Accurately process and code vendor invoices and credit card transactions; reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies. Manage and maintain accurate job cost allocations by reviewing labor, materials, and subcontractor expenses. Collaborate with project managers to ensure costs align with budgets and prepare reports on job performance and profitability. Perform monthly reconciliations for bank accounts, credit cards, and key balance sheet accounts. Assist with month-end close, journal entries, and preparation of financial statements and management reports. Support tax compliance activities, including sales/use tax, BPPT filings, 1099s, and maintaining registration renewals. Prepare audit schedules and documentation, respond to auditor requests, and assist with internal control and process improvements.
