Field Service Engineer – Phoenix, AZ. Siemens is a global technology company focused on industry, infrastructure, transport, and healthcare. This role is for our Electrification Automation (EA) Business Unit headquartered in Wendell, NC, based in Phoenix, AZ. Location: Phoenix, AZ. Salary range: $114,000.00-$130,000.00. Responsibilities
Install, test, commission, and start up LV and MV equipment (low and medium voltage 480V-38kV). Troubleshoot, maintain, train, and consult as needed. Support Greenfield & Brownfield unit installations and commissioning activities across Siemens/USA. Travel up to 80% (national, depending on site locations). Be available to respond for emergency and relief assignments. Work in a hands-on field environment, with flexibility on location depending on travel amount. Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
High School or GED minimum. 4+ years of directly related equipment experience. Knowledge and/or experience with power distribution systems (low and medium voltage). Experience with low and medium voltage switchgear. Knowledge and/or experience with breakers or high voltage equipment testing, including analyzing test results and equipment condition assessment. Experience in troubleshooting & repair of electrical control circuits. Must be available to respond for emergency and relief assignments. Familiarity with OSHA safety practices and ability to perform duties within safety guidelines. Remote-based in the Phoenix, Arizona area to support EA’s business partners. Willingness and ability to travel up to 80%. Valid Driver's license in good standing; at least 21 years of age to participate in Siemens vehicle plan. Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsor-employee work authorization. Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering. 3-5 years field service experience. Experience with protection and control relays. Experience with project management software.
