Overview
The Keller Group is looking for a
Senior Accountant
for our growing Scottsdale based client. This position plays a vital role in managing and executing full-cycle accounting functions, including preparing journal entries, performing balance sheet reconciliations and accounting for multi-currency transactions. The Senior Accountant also provides support for complex accounting areas such as revenue recognition, lease accounting, equity and stock-based compensation, and M&A.
Base pay range $100,000.00/yr - $115,000.00/yr
Additional compensation types Annual Bonus

Responsibilities
Lead core aspects of the monthly close process for multiple entities and currencies, including preparation of complex journal entries, account reconciliations and variance analyses, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting in compliance with U.S. GAAP.
Maintain detailed schedules for critical balance sheet accounts and support internal and external reporting requirements, including financial packages for executive leadership and private equity partners.
Conduct technical accounting research and analysis on topics such as revenue recognition, lease accounting, stock-based compensation and M&A transactions.
Prepare technical accounting memos and maintain supporting documentation for internal controls; assist with internal and external audit processes.
Identify, recommend and implement scalable process improvements and automation initiatives to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including FP&A, legal, operations and global accounting to analyze results, address complex accounting issues and support strategic business activities.
Perform additional duties as required in support of evolving company needs and special projects.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred but not required.
Minimum of 2 years of progressive experience in public accounting or corporate/technical accounting.
Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
Experience with multi-entity consolidations and foreign currency translation a plus.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments.
