Job Summary The Program Manager, Clinical Outcomes & Public Reporting, will play a critical role in ensuring Adventist Health meets all quality reporting requirements, protecting the organization from CMS Annual Payment Update (APU) penalties. This role provides strategic oversight, operational coordination, and clinical subject matter expertise to ensure the timely, accurate, and complete submission of clinical quality data, safeguarding Adventist Health’s financial standing and public performance profile. Key responsibilities include quality data reporting, managing and ensuring adherence to all quality data reporting deadlines and requirements, workflow development & optimization, establishing and maintaining efficient workflows for capturing required data in the EHR, reducing reporting errors and ensuring alignment with CMS specifications. Education and guidance include, providing targeted training and resources to teams on measure documentation requirements and reporting standards. Data quality & validation duties include, coordinating rigorous data validation processes to ensure submissions are complete, accurate, and audit-ready. Performance Improvement, monitoring and analyzing measure performance trends, identifying potential documentation gaps, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve performance. Collaborative Support duties include, partnering with clinical, operational, analytics, and IT teams across the system to standardize and align reporting processes. In addition to internal collaboration, this role is responsible for vendor management for all clinical data abstraction services.
Job Requirements Education and Work Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree in nursing, pharmacy, medicine or related field: Required
Master’s Degree: Preferred
Five years’ related experience: Preferred
Five years’ leadership experience: Preferred
Licenses/Certifications Licenses/Certifications:
Six Sigma Green Belt: Required
Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) certification: Preferred
Certified Professional in Patient Safety (CPPS) certification: Preferred
Essential Functions Essential Functions:
Quality data reporting and workflow development and optimization. Manage and ensure adherence to all CMS quality data reporting deadlines and requirements.
