Overview
Next Generation Jammer, Program Quality Lead. This onsite role is based in McKinney, Texas. What You Will Do
Implement Quality and Mission Assurance responsibilities as a member of the Next Generation Jammer (NGJ) Program Quality and Mission Assurance team. Ensure programmatic and technical risks are identified, contained, and managed throughout each phase of business pursuit and program implementation. Ensure Quality and Mission Assurance engagement in engineering development, design, and test requirements verification, including the transition of design to production. Assess Program/Product Quality performance and ensure thorough root cause and corrective action (RCCA) is implemented on the program, including leading investigations and cross-functional RCCA activities. Support program and higher-level Corrective Action Boards (CAB). Lead multi-functional teams in problem resolution and continuous improvement activities with an emphasis on CORE, Lean practices and other critical-thinking improvement methods and resources. Participate in program Failure Review Boards (FRB) and review and resolve systemic FRACAS items. Generate program quality flow down requirements as part of the Contract Quality Requirements (CQR) planning. Engage in Program Management Reviews (PMRs) as required. Notify customers of delivered Non-Conforming Material and support internal investigation and disposition of Government-Industry Data Exchange Program (GIDEP) Quality and Mission Assurance actions. Support the generation and implementation of required Program/Product First Article Inspection (FAI) plans. Guide business and program performance utilizing predictive and proactive measures and metrics. Interface with the program quality teams, customers, and multifaceted Integrated Product Teams (IPTs), supporting technical quality and financial performance, as well as compliance to Raytheon procedures and contractual requirements. Maintain positive relationships with program administration, cross-functional program key team members, suppliers, customers, and government representatives, including Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA). Support AS9100 Internal, Corporate, and Certification Audits. Travel to Raytheon program facilities and customer locations. Qualifications You Must Have
Typically requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and ten (10) years of engineering experience. Working experience with Integrated Product Development System (IPDS)/gating, command media or processes (nonrecurring/recurring activities). Working experience in Risk & Opportunity (R&O) management, assessment, mitigation, and capture. Working experience in predictive and proactive measures and metrics assessments and developing actions to improve performance or mitigate problems. Working experience with Quality Management Systems, to include ISO 9001, AS9100 and/or AS9102. Working experience documenting nonconformance, or a demonstrated close-loop corrective action system. The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance. Active Secret Clearance. Working experience in CORE processes or American Society for Quality (ASQ) or Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) Certification. Experience with Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP)/AS9145 and utilizing resources such as Production Part Approval Process (PPAP), Key Characteristics, Design Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (DFMEA), Production Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (PFMEA) and/or Control Plans. Experience Reviewing Statement of Work (SOW), Supplier Corrective Action Requests (SCAR), Knowledge of Purchase Order Quality Requirements (Q-Notes). Working experience with performance to cost, schedule, and technical performance including Cost Accounting Methodologies (Earned Value). Experienced team player who achieves goals and strives for continuous improvement. Experience using written/verbal presentation skills. Experience in developing practical solutions to complex problems. Experience applying Industry and Government Quality and Mission Assurance requirements and standards. What We Offer
