Affordable Housing Leasing Consultant Responsibilities
Property Leasing and Administration Regular/daily onsite attendance is required Show, lease, and move in prospective residents; greet, qualify, tour the community, and sign a lease Close sales by making appointments, generating new leads, conducting tours, maintaining model units, and performing follow-up Complete all leasing paperwork before move-in Assist with lease audits, walking units, and turn process Maintain accurate prospect traffic and leasing data; respond to prospect leads within 24 hours Utilize established sales and marketing strategies to increase property traffic, maintain closing ratios, and strive to exceed leasing goals Perform various administrative tasks as needed Address resident complaints, concerns, and requests to ensure resident satisfaction Assist in developing and implementing resident retention programs (e.g., resident events, promotions, monthly newsletter) Contribute to general upkeep and cleaning of office, common areas, and model Marketing & Outreach: assist in implementing annual marketing plan outreach and complete market survey/analysis to generate ideas and formulate plans Maintain thorough product knowledge of the property, competition, and market conditions; complete weekly market survey report Customer & Resident Relations: manage excellent customer service and monitor service request turnaround and responsiveness Protect a favorable image of the community to achieve property objectives and public recognition Ensure consistency in dealing with residents on all matters Enforce community policies as delegated by the immediate supervisor Education/Experience
High School Diploma or Equivalent Ability to understand and perform all on-site software functions; basic computer skills required Basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements Physical Requirements
Regularly move about to accomplish tasks or move between worksites; communicate with others; repetitive motions Ascend/descend ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps, steps; able to stand or sit for extended periods Move in various positions to accomplish tasks in diverse environments; able to lift and move up to 25 lbs; operate equipment and vehicles; work overtime, weekends, and night hours as needed; work outdoors and in varied temperatures Compensation & Benefits
Salary Range: $21 per hour to $22 per hour.
