Position Summary: The Accountant will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day accounting operations for the KSI Family of Brands. Reporting to the Corporate Controller, this position will be responsible for the accounts receivable function, assisting with accounts payable process, maintaining accurate financial records, preparing reconciliations, and assisting with month-end close activities across multiple business units. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented accounting professional who enjoys working in a dynamic environment and contributing to process improvements within a growing organization. Key Responsibilities: Accounts Payable Process vendor invoices accurately and in a timely manner. Match invoices to purchase orders and item receipts to ensure proper authorization. Maintain vendor information within the accounting system. Respond to vendor inquiries and resolve discrepancies. Support adherence to established AP processes and internal controls. Accounts Receivable Prepare and issue customer invoices across multiple business units. Process and record customer payments and daily cash receipts. Investigate and resolve billing issues promptly. Communicate with customers regarding outstanding balances and assist with collections. Support internal team members with billing-related questions. General Accounting & Month-End Assist with month-end close activities, including journal entries and account reconciliations. Record and reconcile transactions for accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank accounts, and general ledger entries. Support annual financial reporting requirements and audits. Coordinate review and approval of corporate credit card transactions. Process Improvement & Collaboration Collaborate with other departments to streamline processes and increase efficiency Work cross-functionally with other departments to streamline accounting workflows and improve efficiency. Contribute to the enhancement of systems and processes, including the use of NetSuite ERP. Support the Controller with special projects, analyses, and ad hoc reporting as needed. Qualifications: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required. 2+ years of progressive accounting experience. Strong attention to detail, high integrity, and ability to handle confidential information. Proficiency in Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, Index Match, etc.). Experience with NetSuite and Paycor preferred. Proven ability to lead teams, implement process improvements, and collaborate across departments. Competitive salary commensurate with experience.
