The Senior Recruiter will lead efforts to identify, attract, and retain high-performing talent for the construction division. This role focuses on sourcing experienced professionals, managing the full recruitment lifecycle, strengthening the company’s employment brand, and fostering strong relationships with candidates and hiring teams. Source and select top talent for key construction roles such as Superintendents, Senior Project Managers, Corporate Leadership, Regional Managers, Procurement Managers, and Pre-Development Managers. Partner with leadership on workforce planning, hiring needs, and project timelines to ensure timely talent delivery. Lead employer branding initiatives to attract both field and office professionals. Manage full-cycle recruiting: sourcing, screening, selection, and offer coordination across all levels. Communicate interview logistics, expectations, and role requirements to candidates and hiring managers. Serve as the primary liaison between candidates and construction leadership, ensuring consistent communication. Maintain candidate engagement from initial contact through offer acceptance with timely follow-ups. Represent the company at job fairs, trade school visits, career expos, and workforce development events. Use the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) to track candidates, manage data, and monitor hiring progress. Ensure accuracy of candidate records, interview notes, offer documentation, and compliance within the ATS. Uphold compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws, safety standards, and internal hiring policies. Maintain organized candidate files and documentation. Continuously assess and recommend improvements to enhance recruitment efficiency and candidate experience. Execute responsibilities in alignment with hiring project plans and timelines. Stay current on labor market trends, wage benchmarks, certification requirements, and industry best practices. Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of talent acquisition experience or agency recruitment in the construction industry. Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems, LinkedIn, and Indeed. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Excellent organizational abilities and capacity to manage multiple priorities. Ability to travel up to 15% of the time for career and job fairs.
