The description below reflects the responsibilities and qualifications for the Principal Property & Asset Management Analyst role with Northrop Grumman in Elk River, Minnesota. This onsite position may follow a 9/80 or 4/10 work schedule.

Overview Northrop Grumman seeks a Principal Property & Asset Management Analyst to oversee, manage, and analyze activities related to asset business systems, ensuring government, customer, and company property is managed in accordance with applicable regulations and policies to achieve best value and operational excellence. The role includes maintaining property accountability records, managing disposal of surplus or obsolete material, and preparing various reports related to taxes, leasing, insurance, facility usage, and more.

Responsibilities

Oversee management systems, policies and procedures to ensure contractual and continual accountability of government, other customer and company assets under the responsibility of various contracts.

Conduct property surveillance reviews at supplier/subcontractor sites.

Provide various material and tagged asset reports.

Prepare contract transfer documentation.

Prepare and submit property financial reports and coordinate physical inventory processes.

Review property records and perform inventory updates in the property database.

Interact with internal and external customers at a high level.

Research, prepare, and establish property records; research, prepare and complete contract closeout certifications.

Assist in Contractor Self-Assessment (CSA) reviews.

Collaborate with Buyers, Subcontract Administrators, and Property Focal Points to ensure asset accountability.

Assist suppliers/subcontractors in the property management lifecycle recovery plans, as needed.

Assist other team members as necessary.

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution with 5 years of relevant experience or Master’s Degree with 3 years of relevant experience in property administration; or 9 years of relevant experience in lieu of a Bachelor’s degree.

Thorough knowledge of the FAR/DFARS relative to property administration.

Knowledge and proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite.

Ability to obtain/maintain Secret U.S. Government Security Clearance

Ability to travel 10% of the time.

Preferred Qualifications

Knowledge of and ability to use SAP/S4, Costpoint, or AssetSmart.

Knowledge of PIEE (Procurement Integrated Enterprise Environment) modules.

National Property Management Association (NPMA) membership; NPMA certifications (CCPS, CPPA, CPPM).

Active Secret U.S. Government Security Clearance.

Salary and Benefits Primary Level Salary Range: $79,100.00 - $118,700.00

The salary range is a general guideline; actual base salary offers consider factors such as scope and responsibilities, candidate experience, education, skills, and market conditions. Employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, bonuses, and long-term incentives where applicable.
