The Opportunity The Law Offices of Samer Habbas and Associates, P.C. is seeking an Employment Law Attorney to join our employment division, The Labor Champ. You will work from case inception through trial with support from an enthusiastic team. You will gain exposure to a broad range of employment matters, including wage and hour disputes, harassment, wrongful termination, and whistleblower claims. Responsibilities include active litigation, taking and defending depositions, discovery, mediation, and arguing motions, with opportunities to serve as first or second chair in arbitration or jury trials.

Responsibilities

Handle all aspects of personal injury litigation, including case strategy, discovery, motion practice, and trial preparation and execution

Represent clients in court, mediation, depositions, and arbitration, advocating effectively at each stage

Draft clear and compelling legal documents, including pleadings, motions, briefs, and settlement agreements

Communicate effectively and frequently with clients, opposing counsel, and courts, including engaging in regular settlement negotiations on behalf of clients

Manage caseload independently while collaborating with firm attorneys and support staff

Qualifications

J.D. from an accredited law school

Active State Bar membership in applicable job location

Minimum 2-4 years of employment/labor or similar law experience

Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills

Excellent communication, negotiation, and courtroom advocacy abilities

Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines

Bilingual in English/Spanish preferred
