About the Role Studio Zubio is seeking a Project Producer to help us bring our first playable video game demo of Bunderkin to life—a 6–10 minute vertical slice developed in Unreal Engine 5. You’ll act as the organizational backbone of the team, helping guide developers, artists, animators, and leadership toward our March deadline.

This role is ideal for a highly organized, proactive communicator who knows how to manage creative teams and production pipelines in indie game or animation development.

Responsibilities

Build and maintain the production schedule (milestones, weekly goals, asset deadlines)

Coordinate and track tasks across departments: dev, art, animation, writing, design

Facilitate weekly sprint planning, check-ins, and standups

Identify blockers early and help resolve cross-team communication gaps

Work with leadership to manage budget and resource allocation

Create simple, clean reporting tools to track progress toward our March vertical slice deadline

Support milestone delivery and submission-ready builds

2+ years experience in game, animation, or VFX production

Deep familiarity with creative pipelines (ideally in Unreal, Maya, or animation-heavy projects)

Skilled in task-tracking tools (e.g., Notion, ShotGrid, Trello, Airtable, ClickUp, etc.)

Exceptional communicator and time manager

Experience managing small creative teams with multiple departments and overlapping workflows

Positive, calm demeanor—able to adapt and help others do the same
