is seeking a motivated
Executive Chef 2
to support our partnership with
Fort Worth ISD
in Fort Worth, TX. The Child Nutrition Program operates the
National School Lunch and Breakfast Programs (NSLP and NSBP) , under USDA regulations. A successful candidate will understand and successfully run a highly regulated culinary operation while finding creative avenues to offer students fresh and unique dishes. The Executive Chef will make decisions in alignment with Fort Worth ISD's mission to unite students, families, educators, and the community to ensure a challenging and enriching academic environment that inspires students to develop the knowledge and skills necessary to become responsible citizens and lifelong learners. Culinary certificate or degree needed; bilingual a plus. Work-life balance : M-F, nights and weekends off.
What You'll Do
Be responsible for purchasing, menu compliance, inventory, food cost analysis and food production forecasting. Ensure Sodexo Culinary standards including recipe compliance and food quality are implemented. Develop and motivate team members to embrace culinary innovations. Ensure food safety, sanitation and workplace safety standard compliance. Have working knowledge of automated food inventory, ordering, production and management systems.

Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to maintain high culinary standards. Strong coaching and employee development skills. Have a passion for food and innovation. Valid driver's license is required.
Qualifications & Requirements
Minimum Education: Associate's Degree or equivalent experience. Minimum Management Experience: 2 years. Minimum Functional Experience: 2 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
