Leadership and Collaboration: Provide guidance and mentorship to the communications team, foster a collaborative and innovative environment, and collaborate with other departments and senior executives to integrate communication strategies into overall organizational goals and initiatives. Messaging and Storytelling: Craft consistent and compelling messages and stories to engage audiences and convey the mission, values, and impact. Communications Planning: Create comprehensive communications plans including messaging frameworks, content calendars, and communication tactics. Digital and Social Media Strategy: Develop strategies to leverage social media channels, engage with online communities, monitor conversations, and respond to inquiries and feedback. Strategic Media Campaigns: Develop, implement, and manage media campaigns to enhance visibility and reputation. Media Relations: Prepare press releases and media kits, coordinate interviews and coverage for accurate and positive representation. Media Inquiries and Stakeholder Engagement: Manage and respond to inquiries promptly and professionally. Events Strategy and Management: Develop and execute events strategy including planning, branding, creative elements, and logistics. Conference and Meeting Branding: Drive creative elements to ensure a consistent and professional visual identity across meeting materials. Presentation Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop presentations for different audiences. Content/Articles: Develop and curate engaging content including articles, updates, blogs, white papers, social posts, podcasts, and multimedia materials. Newsletters and Press Releases: Develop and distribute newsletters highlighting achievements, updates, and initiatives. Executive Speeches and Presentations: Assist senior executives in crafting impactful speeches and presentations. Video Production and Multimedia Campaigns: Manage video projects including scripting, storyboarding, and coordination. Stakeholder Engagement: Build relationships with key stakeholders to foster understanding and support for organizational goals. Internal Communications: Develop internal strategies including newsletters, town halls, and intranet content to inform and motivate employees. Crisis Communication: Develop crisis plans, coordinate messaging, and provide guidance with timely updates to maintain trust and confidence. Measurement and Evaluation: Establish metrics to evaluate effectiveness and impact of communication efforts; analyze data and feedback to improve strategies. Required Qualifications

10+ years of hands-on experience developing and executing communication strategy. Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, public relations, or a related field. Must have a current secret security clearance. Proven background in branding, creative design, and event management. Proficiency in digital marketing, social media, and multimedia production. Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with media contacts and stakeholders. Meticulous attention to detail and strong history in project planning and process management. Strong judgment and emotional intelligence with ability to forge consensus among divergent views. Ability to connect with and inspire people to drive effective teamwork and collaboration across multiple groups with competing priorities. Exemplary writing skills and ability to distill complex information for varying audiences. Business acumen and fluency in fundamentals of communications. Strong project management and organizational skills. Experience in executive speech writing and presentations. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Knowledge of latest trends and best practices in strategic communications and media relations. Notes
