Base pay range: $180,000.00/yr - $200,000.00/yr
Overview Lead the Business Development Management (BDM) function, acting as a strategic growth driver across regions and service lines while remaining hands-on in execution. Define and implement the business development strategy in close collaboration with executive leadership, identifying new market opportunities and high-potential clients. Engage directly with C-level clients and strategic partners, representing the company at a senior level and managing key relationships. Drive revenue growth through the end-to-end management of sophisticated sales proposals — from concept development to pricing, execution, and final presentation. Oversee pricing and contract negotiations to achieve optimal outcomes aligned with business objectives and profitability goals. Ensure a smooth transition from sales to delivery, securing alignment between contractual commitments and service execution. Coach and mentor the BDM team, fostering a high-performance, collaborative, and client-centric culture. Maintain visibility over the sales pipeline and report regularly to executive management, combining strategic insights with operational detail. Your Profile / Qualifications
Proven track record in business development and consultative sales at a senior level, ideally in professional services, procurement, or supply chain.
Strong leadership background with experience managing cross-functional and multicultural teams.
Strategic yet hands-on, with the ability to move seamlessly from planning to execution.
Excellent project management, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills, capable of navigating complex environments and driving results.
Commercially minded and data-driven, with sound financial and contractual acumen.
Outstanding communication and presentation skills, comfortable influencing executive stakeholders.
Passionate about innovation, continuous improvement, and driving measurable impact.
Deep understanding of procurement services, sourcing solutions, and global client needs.
University degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
Fluency in English (Spanish or German is an asset).
Proficient in MS Office (especially PowerPoint), with experience in CRM and sales tools.
Familiarity with source-to-pay (S2P) technologies is highly desirable.
Minimum 10 years of experience (15 preferred) in business development, sales operations, or related roles, with at least 3 years in a people management position.
