Responsibilities
As a
Business Development Manager , you will lead strategic growth efforts by identifying and securing new opportunities with niche high-value customers in aerospace, defense, and industrial markets. You’ll build long-term partnerships, collaborate with engineering and production teams, and shape solutions. You will take ownership of the full sales cycle, including contracts and pricing, and after winning the bid you will advocate for the customer to internal teams. This role is integral to the company’s long-term strategy, with direct exposure to senior leadership and a defined pathway toward executive roles, including Business Unit Manager and ultimately VP.
Key Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline (engineering preferred) 3+ years of business development or sales experience in the aerospace and defense industry Strong skills in customer negotiation, strategic selling, and contract development Ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence senior stakeholders Experience with market analysis, value-based pricing, and competitive positioning Eligible to work with ITAR-regulated data (U.S. person or eligible for authorization) Willingness to travel up to 40%
