Overview
As a Sales Advisor, you’ll be responsible for providing excellent customer service, welcoming and guiding customers through the store to actively sell products and provide support and guidance. You’ll use fashion and product knowledge to inform customers for the best experience. You’ll also contribute to garment refill and care, presentation and maintain a clean and tidy sales floor and back of house, working closely with your store team to deliver an excellent customer experience. Responsibilities
Provide excellent customer service: welcoming and guiding customers through the store and omni experience where available, supporting them with direct customer service Engage with customers to provide excellent service Guide customers through fashion trends, stories and products in all areas of the store Effectively promote and sell products Actively promote the Customer Loyalty App (Hello Member) and in-store sustainability initiatives Represent the H&M brand positively during all customer interactions Support with commercial or operational actions to reach sales targets with store management Fashion & Trend Awareness
Keep up to date with fashion scene, trends, styles, brands, products, competitors and relevant influencers Use product and fashion knowledge to share relevant information with customers Team & Development
Share service, fashion and store operations knowledge with colleagues Follow procedures, routines and legal requirements in all areas of the store Give and receive feedback to learn, develop and support each other Participate in onboarding, introduction processes and trainings relevant for your role and future development Retail Operations / Visual & Commercial Execution
Complete full garment cycle from unpacking and refill to steaming and garment care Operate fitting rooms and checkout areas according to best practice and processes Contribute to a clean and tidy sales floor and back of house (including stockrooms) Assist with garment presentation and maintain attractive merchandise displays, clear trends and stories according to visual and commercial guidelines Ensure good stock levels with replenishment routines on the sales floor Keep up with in-store omni services and in-store tech services/tools Support opening and closing of the store Follow all H&S guidelines and legal requirements applicable to the role Qualifications
As a Sales Advisor, you’ll be passionate about fashion and everything we create in-store Motivated by giving customers a great experience Excellent communication, creativity, curiosity, flexibility, decisiveness and action orientation Enjoy working in a collaborative and dynamic environment Sales experience in a dynamic and collaborative environment Experience in customer service in fashion, retail or related industries Ability to lift in excess of 20 pounds Ability to stand for long periods, bend, stretch, perform repetitive motions, push, pull and carry items for short distances Ability to climb a ladder and use a step stool Open availability including evenings and weekends 1-2+ years of transferable experience welcome Basic computer skills (browser navigation, software interaction, data entry) May be required to travel to support other stores and for training Why You’ll Love Working for H&M
