Base pay range: $113,506.00/yr - $141,887.00/yr. Additional stipend: $1,384.62 per paycheck (based on a 1.0 FTE). Role Overview

An Acute Care Medical Provider is needed for night shift to help us build a healthy community by providing professional evaluation and treatment for clients at our acute care behavioral health facility. The facility opened in late 2023 and is a collaboration with Larimer County. We provide comprehensive and collaborative care to individuals in crisis with mental health and/or substance use disorders. The Advanced Practice Provider (PA or NP) will deliver professional services in evaluation and treatment at our acute care facility, with primary focus on seeing clients in the behavioral health urgent care during the night shift, and some coverage of admitted clients on crisis and detox units. Responsibilities

Function as the medical team representative to a multidisciplinary treatment team offering comprehensive behavioral health services. Evaluate patients for substance use and medical disorders and determine appropriate treatment plans. Thrive in a multidisciplinary team setting and meet/maintain documentation standards while complying with county, state, and federal health care laws, rules, and regulations. This position requires knowledge of diversity and inclusion with the ability to engage, communicate, interact, and work effectively with people from diverse backgrounds and communities. Qualifications

Required

Advanced Practice Nursing degree (APN) or Physician Assistant (PA) from an accredited university. Demonstrated commitment and experience working with persons from marginalized communities and other vulnerable patient populations. Understanding and commitment to Medications for Addiction Treatment and harm reduction principles. Preferred

Spanish language skills; other language skills are beneficial. At least 2 years of experience treating/servicing persons with substance use and mental health needs. Strong understanding of substance use treatment and withdrawal management processes. Some positions include driving a company vehicle and require a valid Colorado driver’s license.
