SHRM-CP Certified Human Resources Generalist with First Hope Bank

The Training Specialist works in tandem with the Training Coordinator to support the retail branch network by delivering engaging and effective training programs to retail associates and serves as a backup for all functions performed by the Training Coordinator. The Training Specialist works closely with Human Resources to ensure a comprehensive onboarding experience for new hires and oversees the facilitation of bank-wide leadership development programs for current and future leaders. This role requires full time on-site availability Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with the Training Coordinator and Human Resources to coordinate and facilitate new hire onboarding sessions, including the preparation and updating of training materials that introduce First Hope Bank, its products, services, sales and service standards, and relevant systems and processes. Collaborate with the Training Coordinator to coordinate and facilitate ongoing retail training for branch associates, including training for those who are promoted. Assist the Training Coordinator in maintaining accurate, detailed training records and course directories for all internal and external training programs for First Hope Bank associates, ensuring timely completion. Leverage external training resources to tailor leadership development training programs for current, newly promoted, and emerging leaders. Work collaboratively with the Training Coordinator and Human Resources to ensure retail banking and leadership development resources are accessible on the respective department’s SharePoint site. Evaluate and report learning effectiveness using data-driven metrics. All First Hope Associates

Participate in community events to promote and enhance the banks’ presence and image in the community. Knowledge

Familiarity with banking laws, regulations, and First Hope Bank policies and procedures. Understanding of established guidelines related to all retail banking job functions, including privacy standards. Knowledge of adult learning principles and methodologies Skills

Strong facilitation and presentation skills to clearly convey information verbally and in writing to diverse audiences Effective oral and written communication abilities Excellent time management and organizational skills Proficiency with Microsoft Windows and related software, including MS PowerPoint Easily adopts new technologies and digital platforms, comfortable navigating banking systems and Learning Management Systems. Absorbs new information quickly, pivots in response to organizational change and continuously updates knowledge of banking regulations, technology and leadership practices Education and Experience

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience Demonstrable experience facilitating technical and leadership training for adult learners 3+ years of retail banking experience required. Working Conditions

Professional office and training environment with moderate sound. Ability to travel to branches, off-site training and meetings, as required. Compensation
