FLSA: Non-Exempt
FT/PT: Part Time
Hours Per Week: No more than 25 hours
Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, Day and Evening classes

Summary: Teach a variety of classes in Criminal Justice. Adjuncts typically teach up to two classes per semester.

Essential Role Responsibilities The Department of Psychology and Criminal Justice at Howard Community College is seeking individuals to be included in a pool to hire adjunct (part‑time) faculty for Criminal Justice courses in the following areas:
Introduction to Criminal Justice
Juvenile Delinquency
Introduction to Corrections
Candidates must be available to teach in‑person classes at the main Columbia and Laurel College Center campuses of Howard Community College. Candidates are expected to be familiar with using an online learning management system such as CANVAS, and should have proficiency with Microsoft Office productivity software.

A master's degree is required in the discipline or related field
