Retail Store Manager role at Circle K. Location: Frontier BU - Region 06 - Market 01: 5253 Mattis Rd, St Louis, Missouri 63128. Responsibilities, Duties and Skills

Leadership and Management: Recruit, hire and train employees; ensure excellent customer service; assign tasks to maintain a clean, stocked site that meets Company standards; maintain a professional image; schedule employees to maximize customer service; apply non-discriminatory management practices in hiring, training, counseling, motivating and separating employees. Site Relationships: Develop positive relationships with suppliers; promote excellent service and resolve customer complaints promptly; promote a safe, positive public image in the community. Training and Development: Prepare timely performance appraisals; train employees to meet customer service, site image and marketing standards; train on safety procedures and promote safety awareness. Communication: Ensure timely communication to all employees; establish regular communication meetings with site employees and the Market Manager. Organizing and Planning: Develop action plans to reach site objectives; organize and maintain site files and manuals; supervise reports and ensure merchandise is stocked, displayed and priced correctly; ensure necessary posters/signs are accessible. Financial: Analyze daily sales and expenses to maximize sales and net profits; budget and forecast P&L, manage margins; safeguard cash handling; perform financial analyses to maximize profits. Working Conditions: Most work indoors with occasional outdoor tasks (parking lot, pumps, garbage); occasional cold temperatures in walk-in cooler/freezer; exposure to noise; operate with minimal supervision; act as an effective manager, supervisor and leader. Qualifications

High School diploma or GED preferred Retail sales experience preferred Experience to perform essential duties and understand the described conditions Ability to supervise and train in use of equipment, tools and materials listed in CSR and ASM job descriptions Ability to supervise and manage functions listed in CSR and ASM job descriptions Computer literacy including analysis of reports, inventory control, cash control and related duties Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to/from bank and corporate meetings Ability to communicate in English (oral and written) Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor Other
