UNIV - Technology Lead - AHEC role at MUSC Health. This position supports SC AHEC’s departmental information technology, including hardware, software, and other systems by ensuring the smooth operation of resources and serving as a liaison to MUSC Information Solutions (IS) on behalf of the department. Responsibilities

Tracking hardware use for the department (including oversight of routine upgrades and backup/floater pool and process). Coordinating software procurement and renewals. Serving as admin for Salesforce instance and AHEC’s Microsoft 365 licenses. Supporting and troubleshooting staff technology issues, and providing other IT coordination as needed. Maintaining a broad understanding of information technology including diverse software, services, and operating systems; collaborating with users from diverse backgrounds; prioritizing departmental goals and user needs. Working with a high degree of independence, proactively ensuring AHEC technology operations operate without lapses or interruptions and that projects proceed on schedule and within budget. Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications And Experience Five years experience in an information technology (IT) role, preferably in an academic and/or healthcare setting. Experience with Salesforce preferred. MUSC Minimum Training And Experience Requirements A high school diploma and three years experience in computer system development and modification. A bachelor's degree in a related area may be substituted for the required work experience. Salesforce Admin: Serve as admin for AHEC’s Salesforce instance including configuring and maintaining Salesforce features, dashboards, reports, roles, permissions, accounts, and licenses; stay up-to-date with releases; oversee sandboxes and testing; coordinate with Salesforce consultants; support program office and regional AHEC center staff in Salesforce use. AHEC Technology Policy and Processes: Coordinate policy and process compliance with MUSC Information Solutions (IS); attend IS meetings; meet requirements for technology, security assessments, and asset procurement. Technology Hardware Tracking: Coordinate hardware/software processes; advise on staff hardware purchases; manage imaging/wiping, standby machines, and hardware upgrade processes; coordinate software licenses renewal. Support for AHEC Staff: Provide internal technology support for local issues (network drives, printers, IS coordination, etc.). Microsoft 365 Admin: Maintain licenses and security measures; assist users; ensure timely renewals. Development Process Support: Provide support to developers, document work, gather requirements, and communicate status to users.
