Position: Supplemental Health Account Executive (field-based) for Georgia/Alabama. This role partners with Cigna field sales and account management to drive product growth in supplemental health solutions. The position is geography-aligned and drives all supplemental health opportunities for designated Cigna sales office(s). Position Summary
The Supplemental Health Account Executive role is a field-based sales role focused on supplemental health solutions (Accidental Injury AI, Critical Illness CI, Hospital Indemnity HI). Responsibilities include product solutions, enrollment capabilities, and administrative processes (billing and claims). This role collaborates with matrix partners and internal teams to drive growth and provide market feedback. Product solutions: Accidental Injury (AI), Critical Illness (CI), Hospital Indemnity (HI) and associated pricing/underwriting strategies Enrollment solutions: Internal capabilities and external options Administrative solutions: Billing and claim processes Job Responsibilities
The Senior Supplemental Health Account Executive engages in proactive, consultative outreach to local markets to enhance knowledge of Cigna's Supplemental Health solutions and manages relationships with external sales experts, brokers, and consultants. Drive Market-Level Distribution Strategy: Partner with market leadership to grow AI/CI/HI product sales within the geography, considering clients by size (e.g., 100-3,000 lives), broker relationships, growth strategies, competitive insight, local trends, and core product strategies. Include product-specific sales reports, forecasts, and updates; participating in finalist meetings, underwriting negotiations, seminars, etc., as part of market strategy as applicable. Collaboration with matrix partners: Serve as a resource liaison for operations, share market feedback to underwriting, pricing, and enrollment to align with market conditions, and promote best practices across sales and matrix partners. Goal Attainment: Accountable for assigned supplemental health sales goals, including new business, existing business, and persistency bonuses. Incentive Compensation

Bachelor’s Degree 3+ years of relevant experience (desired) Industry experience required History of delivering business results Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, rapidly changing, team-based environment Ability to balance long-term projects with short-term deadlines Ability to foster collaboration and gain buy-in for organizational proposals Excellent oral and written communication skills, executive presence Proven ability to lead in a heavily matrixed environment Note: If you will be working from home, internet access must be via cable broadband or fiber with speeds of at least 10 Mbps download and 5 Mbps upload.
