We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Regional Sales Manager to join our team. This is a permanent position, offering the opportunity to play a key role in driving the growth and success of our business. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a multi-state territory, developing new business, and expanding our client base in the packaging industry. This role involves regular travel (up to 50% of the time) and offers a competitive compensation package. Base pay range

$140,000.00/yr - $170,000.00/yr Compensation and Benefits

Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive sales growth in the assigned territory and target market segment of the packaging industry. Perform research and identify new potential customers and new market opportunities. Provide customer service and professional account management to existing customers while also prospecting new clients. Conduct regular sales presentations and product demonstrations, negotiating contracts and closing deals. Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement marketing plans and materials. Manage and maintain sales pipeline as well as forecasting sales and budgeting effectively. Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients, ensuring their satisfaction and retention. Conduct regular competitive analysis to stay ahead of trends and competitors in the market. Provide leadership and direction to the sales team while fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement. Provide regular reports to senior management on sales metrics, opportunities, and threats. Qualifications

Minimum of 5 years of sales experience in the packaging industry. Proven track record of successfully developing and growing business in a multi-state territory. Advanced communication and negotiation skills. Experience in client prospecting, territory management, and account management. Proficient in outside sales, lead generation, cold calling, and B2B sales. Strong ability to work independently and as part of a team. Willingness and ability to travel up to 50% of the time. Excellent organizational and time-management skills. Strong customer service and relationship management skills. Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred. About the Company
