Outside Sales Representative - Waterworks & Irrigation
Ferguson is seeking an Outside Sales Representative to join our Waterworks division. This field-based sales role supports customers in the Northern Colorado area, focusing north of Interstate 70 from the Continental Divide west to the Craig and Meeker areas. A fuel card, auto allowance, travel and expense card, company cell phone & laptop will be provided. Responsibilities
Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and an assigned customer base, coordinating with branch associates to ensure satisfaction from order through delivery and beyond. Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the customer base; collaborate with management on sales strategies and new account targeting. Perform duties including product quotation and issue resolution. Analyze competition in the territory, devise sales strategy, and communicate strategy to management. Continually improve sales skills and product knowledge to project a professional image in the field. Document all sales activity in the CRM (Salesforce) for evaluation of the pipeline and closure results. Qualifications
2+ years of industry-related sales experience preferred Strong technical background and experience in water and/or wastewater industry preferred Results-oriented, self-motivated, capable of completing tasks promptly, able to build relationships and work well in a team Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills Problem solving, leadership and listening skills General digital literacy Self-motivated with ability to multi-task and learn quickly This is a base plus commission-eligible role, with no cap on commission. Estimated total compensation range, based on performance and experience, is $80,000-$130,000+.
