The Family Medicine Physician will care for the physical, mental, and emotional well-being of patients and their families. They treat patients across ages, typically from age 5 to senior adults, and coordinate care with the broader care team. A family doctor often does not require a referral to schedule appointments with Kelsey-Seybold specialists, but remains a key part of the multispecialty team.
Responsibilities
See patients in an outpatient setting Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., including new patients and corporate physicals
Participate in the Family Medicine Call group; on-call about once per month (weekday or weekend). Weekend on-call is shared with another physician. Answer phone calls from patients in the call group
Perform annual physicals and wellness exams
Provide preventive medicine services
Qualifications Required
Medical Degree (MD, DO)
Accredited Family Medicine Residency training
Licensed or eligible to be licensed in the State of Texas
Board Certified or Board Eligible
Driver’s License and access to reliable transportation
Preferred
Bilingual (English/Spanish) fluency
Compensation and Benefits Compensation for this specialty generally ranges from $226,000 - $366,000. Total cash compensation includes base pay and bonus and is based on factors including local labor markets, education, work experience, and productivity. We comply with applicable minimum wage laws. Benefits include a comprehensive package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase, and 401k contribution (eligibility applies).
