Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Collection Specialist to manage communications with customers regarding past due balances. This role involves reaching out to a large volume of customers through calls and emails, maintaining detailed records, and collaborating with management to resolve outstanding issues. Responsibilities
Make calls and send emails to customers with past due balances. Maintain detailed notes of conversations in the ERP system. Communicate findings with management. Send invoice copies to customers as needed. Essential Skills
Experience in collections and accounts receivable. Proficiency in Excel. Strong negotiation skills and prior experience in B2B collections. Ability to have difficult conversations confidently. Professionalism with a strong focus on customer expectations. Additional Skills & Qualifications
Basic skills in phone, computer, and email usage. Work Environment
This position requires on-site work five days a week, from 8 AM to 4 PM. The role involves managing a portfolio of approximately 30 customers, ranging from small to medium-sized businesses, and handling a high volume of calls for resolution. Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of Halethorpe, Maryland. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $27.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
