Accounts Payable & Administrative Specialist
We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable individual to join our team as an AP specialist & Office Assistant. This hybrid role is responsible for performing accounts payable functions, assisting with other accounting and clerical tasks, and supporting day-to-day office operations including mailroom duties, supply management, and general administrative support.
Accounts Payable & Accounting Support
Process vendor invoices, verify accuracy, and ensure timely payments
Reconcile accounts payable transactions and assist with month-end close
Maintain vendor records and respond to inquiries
Assist with expense reports and credit card reconciliations
Support general ledger coding and filing of accounting documents
Support oil and gas accounting functions including JIB and revenue processes
Clerical & Administrative Support
Open, sort, and distribute incoming mail; manage outgoing mail and packages
Order and restock office supplies, kitchen snacks, and beverages
Maintain an organized office environment, including common areas and supply closets
Assist other departments with printing, scanning, and administrative tasks
Assist in formatting, proofreading, and editing investor reports, presentations, and correspondence
Candidate Requirements / Education / Experience
High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree or coursework in accounting preferred
1–2 years of experience in accounts payable or general accounting support, or 2+ years in other administrative roles
Oil and gas industry experience a plus
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word); experience with accounting software a plus
Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to prioritize tasks
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
