Responsibilities
Interact with guests to ensure they have a wonderful experience and ensure every customer leaves happier than they arrived.
Present drink menus, make specific recommendations and answer questions regarding beverages.
Accurately mix and serve beverages to guests and service staff in a friendly and efficient manner.
Must be able to offer help with any general restaurant questions and menu food and beverage questions.
Practice accurate cash handling procedures.
Perform all bar side work and keep the bar area clean, stocked and organized.
Record drink orders accurately and immediately after receipt into the register system.
Prepare garnishes for drinks for bar patrons.
Maintain cleanliness in all areas of the bar including counters, sinks, utensils, glassware, shelves and storage.
This is a non-exempt position. The position of bartender reports to restaurant management and the General Manager.
