Member Team Lead at Sam's Club Base pay range

$20.00/hr - $28.00/hr What you'll do

Assist management with supervising associates in the assigned area by assigning duties, communicating goals, training on processes and procedures, and providing direction on member service approaches to resolve issues per company guidelines. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures and support the Open Door Policy; participate in recruiting, hiring, scheduling, promoting, coaching, and evaluating associates. Communicate and support membership by informing on membership types, programs, and benefits; process memberships, upgrades, and credit accounts; encourage renewals; participate in sales and marketing events; maintain required documentation and strive to meet membership goals. Provide and ensure member service by acknowledging members, assisting with purchasing decisions, locating merchandise, guiding use of self-service technology, assisting at registers or self-checkout, and ensuring club pickup orders are filled. Oversee the assigned area by handling claims and returns, organizing merchandise, identifying shrink and damages, maintaining availability of carts/flatbeds, assisting with transporting items, and maintaining parking lot cleanliness. Complete accounting records and transactions following procedures; manage funds for registers; prepare deposits; oversee cash transfers; investigate overages/shortages; and maintain confidentiality and accuracy of financial information. Develop, communicate, and implement processes to meet business needs by collaborating with managers, coworkers, customers, and partners; analyze information, monitor progress, and identify improvement opportunities. Promote compliance with company policies, procedures, and ethics; explain and demonstrate these practices and support management in addressing issues; use the Open Door Policy as applicable. Lead and participate in teams by coordinating work, assessing customer needs and priorities, and ensuring timelines and quality while supporting change management. Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

6 months retail experience including operating front-end equipment (e.g., cash register) and 6 months customer service experience Must be 18 years of age or older Preferred Qualifications

Leading a front-end team; supervising experience including hiring, evaluating, mentoring, developing, and managing others Location
