Overview Mainframe System Automation Administrator (z/OS) – Contract

Location: Plano, Texas; Phoenix, AZ; Jersey City, NJ; Charlotte, NC; or Richmond, VA

Type: 18+ month contract

Responsibilities

Configure, maintain, and support IBM System Automation for z/OS

Support automation processes, programming, and policy database

Work with IBM NetView (System Automation runs on top of NetView)

Develop and enhance automation using REXX programming

Create and maintain documentation

Partner with operations teams to ensure automation reliability and efficiency

Must Haves

Deep REXX programming experience

NetView and IBM System Automation for z/OS expertise

7+ years of mainframe experience with z/OS, JCL, TSO, ISPF

Strong background in mainframe operations and system administration

Nice to Have

Exposure to modernization projects involving mainframe automation

Industry experience in financial services or other large-scale enterprise environments

Strong documentation and knowledge-sharing skills
