This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Direct Hire Authority - Domestic Defense Industrial Base (DIB) & Major Range and Test Facilities Base (MRTFB) to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service.

Duties
Prepare complete architectural design drawings in compliance with agency criteria and project requirements to include floor plans, exterior elevations, sections, details, perspectives, and various architectural schedules.
Ensure architectural designs meet current codes, standards, user, and aesthetic requirements.
Perform quality control peer review on in-house design documents and quality assurance reviews on Architect-Engineer contracts.
Evaluate technical data pertaining to materials, equipment, shop drawings, proposals for modifications and additions, and methods of installation submitted by contractors.
Aid in the maintenance of extensive, up‑to‑date design resource library to include current samples of construction materials, furnishings, equipment, product literature building codes, manuals, standards and GSA contracts and schedules.
Review and prepare as‑built drawings for completed projects.
Requirements
Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
Occasional TDY Travel may be required.
Incumbent must obtain and maintain a valid State Driver's License.
Incumbent must obtain and maintain the appropriate security clearance.
