Program Coordinator, OISE (Hybrid) - Student Affairs role at Washington University in St. Louis. WashU's Division of Student Affairs seeks a student engagement professional for the Office for International Students Engagement (OISE). The Division advances the university’s educational mission through resources and experiences outside the classroom to prepare students for lifelong success. The Program Coordinator oversees student initiatives in OISE and collaborates with campus partners to support international undergraduate, graduate, professional and exchange students. The position ensures activities comply with applicable laws, regulations, and guidelines related to international students (e.g., requirements from the Departments of Homeland Security, Labor, and State). The Program Coordinator will work with the OISE team to understand international student needs and recommend improvements to address personal and academic issues. Reports to the Director and collaborates daily with the OISE team and campus partners. Primary Duties & Responsibilities
Manage student outreach initiatives to engage students with resources and connect them with campus offices. Conduct educational programs and provide resources and direct support for the international student population on issues impacting daily life (housing, cultural experiences, belonging, and connecting to the local community off campus). Create and lead programs appropriate for the international student population and their departments, including orientation, cultural integration and awareness, and other topics of interest. Collaborate with international student graduate assistants on projects. May supervise student workers. Contribute to program initiatives, meetings, events, fundraising and stewardship. Liaise with campus partners to provide support and address issues impacting international students. Perform other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or combination of education and/or experience may substitute for minimum education. Certifications: No specific certification is required for this position. Work Experience: Relevant Experience (3 Years) Skills: Not Applicable Driver's License: A driver’s license is not required for this position. Preferred Qualifications Experience with student and leadership development, student group advising and program implementation. Possess general familiarity with J-1 scholar and F-1 visas. Experience living and working in another culture is a significant plus. Education: Preferred Qualifications:

$49,700.00 - $82,100.00 / Annually The salary range reflects base salaries paid for positions in a given job grade across the University.
