Position Summary What you’ll do

Provide member service by acknowledging the member and identifying member needs. Provide guidance and support to members regarding self-service technology and assist with purchasing decisions. Locate merchandise, resolve member issues and concerns, and promote the company’s products and services. Assist management with supervising associates, including assigning duties, communicating goals and feedback, training, and providing direction on member service approaches to resolve complaints according to company guidelines. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures; support the Open Door Policy; participate in recruiting, hiring, scheduling, promoting, coaching, and evaluating associates. Receive and stock supplies and merchandise from distribution centers and vendors; organize and maintain the sales floor; complete required documentation and logs. Maintain facility safety by conducting safety sweeps, following forklift procedures, handling and disposing of hazardous materials, and reporting unsafe situations to management. Maintain merchandise presentation and sales floor by handling claims and returns, stocking, pricing, coordinating cleaning and organizing product displays, and identifying shrink and damages. Monitor food and merchandise quality, product rotation, dates, recalls, and sanitation standards as per company procedures. Oversee the picking and staging of club pick-up orders; ensure correct selection and staging according to policy. Develop and implement processes to meet business needs by collaborating with managers, coworkers, customers, and other partners; analyze information and identify improvement opportunities. Demonstrate and promote compliance with company policies, ethics, and integrity standards; explain and model application in business processes; assist management with addressing ethical and compliance issues. The hourly wage range for this position is $22.00 to $30.00. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in specific circumstances (e.g., schedule, facility, season). Multiple premiums may apply if criteria are met. Minimum Qualifications: 18 years of age or older; 6 months retail experience and 6 months customer service experience. Preferred Qualifications: leading a team and supervisory experience including hiring, evaluating, mentoring, developing, and managing workload of others.
