Overview Advatech Pacific is an established Aerospace & Defense Engineering firm supporting our customers with engineering, modeling, research and development, design and analysis services. Currently we have a Manufacturing Engineer position open in Irvine, CA.
Location US-CA Irvine
Responsibilities Support engineering, modeling, research and development, design and analysis services as part of manufacturing engineering activities.
Qualifications The ideal candidate must be a self-starter with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Primary Qualifications:
A background in complex machining, particularly for gears.
A minimum of 8 years manufacturing experience.
Must be able to read 2D drawings and create marking fixture drawings.
A good working knowledge of lean manufacturing, product planning and routing.
Attention to detail and understanding the need for accuracy, timeliness and quality in assigned work tasks.
Knowledge of Catia and CAD Software, Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma and other process improvement methodologies.
Knowledge of various Manufacturing Software and Tracking.
Excellent report writing and problem solving skills.
Extensive use of MS Office tools and strong written skills.
Education Requires a B.S. in Manufacturing, Industrial or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience in a related field.
Citizenship & Compliance Due to customer requirements and Export Control Information (ECI)/security clearance requirements, U.S. citizenship is required for the majority of our positions.
