Recruiter (Hybrid – Richmond, VA)

Duration: 1-Year Contract

Pay: $43.00/hour

Schedule: Hybrid (on-site 3 days per week in Richmond, VA)

My client, a leading financial services organization, is seeking a Recruiter to support full-cycle recruiting efforts for their customer operations and call center teams. This role requires a proactive, organized, and detail-oriented professional with a proven ability to manage high-volume requisitions while maintaining quality and strong hiring manager partnerships.

The ideal candidate will bring experience in developing sourcing strategies, managing end-to-end recruiting processes, and acting as a consultative partner to business leaders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own relationships with hiring managers, taking a consultative approach to sourcing strategy and talent acquisition.
  • Source, screen, and assess candidates to fill high-volume, non-exempt roles in a call center environment while ensuring quality of hire.
  • Schedule interviews, facilitate consensus meetings to align hiring decisions, and present offers to selected candidates.
  • Partner with cross-functional business units, HR, and recruiting teams to ensure seamless process execution and minimize risk.
  • Manage full life-cycle recruiting independently, driving time-to-fill goals and maintaining process efficiency.
  • Develop effective sourcing strategies to ensure a steady pipeline of qualified candidates.
  • Serve as a recruiting advisor and subject matter expert to business leaders and hiring teams.
  • Screen and counsel candidates, guide hiring teams through best practices, and negotiate offers.
  • Ensure accuracy, attention to detail, and compliance in all requisition and candidate management activities.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage competing priorities effectively.

Top Required Skills

  • Minimum 1 year of full-cycle recruiting experience (high-volume experience strongly preferred).
  • Strong client management, communication, and influencing skills.
  • Self-starter with a professional, organized, and proactive work style.
  • Proven ability to operate effectively and independently while delivering high-quality results.

Preferred Skills & Experience

  • 1–3 years of full life-cycle recruiting experience.
  • Experience developing and executing recruiting strategies in collaboration with leadership and peers.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence and build trust.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities with a track record of meeting hiring goals.
