Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Office Assistant to join our office team in a part-time capacity. The primary responsibility will be to support our accounting and administrative team by uploading invoices, receipts, and other financial documents into our system. This role offers valuable professional experience in office operations and exposure to basic accounting workflows.
Responsibilities
- Upload invoices, receipts, and supporting documents into the company’s accounting/document management system.
- Ensure all files are labeled accurately and stored in the correct digital folders.
- Perform basic data entry tasks related to invoice tracking.
- Cross-check uploaded information for accuracy and completeness.
- Maintain confidentiality of financial records.
- Assist with other light administrative tasks as needed.
Qualifications
- University students encouraged to apply (undergraduate or graduate).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and able to learn new software quickly.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Prior office/administrative experience is a plus, but not required.
Work Schedule
- 3 times per week (days to be mutually agreed upon).
- Approximately 20 hours per week, flexible around academic schedule.
