Seeking an experienced leader to oversee a team of HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection engineers and designers. The Director of Mechanical Engineering will guide all technical aspects of design and project execution for commercial facilities, ensuring innovation, collaboration, and excellence in every project. Key Responsibilities
Lead, mentor, and develop a team of mechanical engineers and designers. Oversee HVAC, plumbing, and sprinkler system design for commercial projects. Prepare pre-construction budgets and ensure compliance with all codes and standards. Collaborate closely with architects, project managers, and field teams. Establish and maintain engineering standards and best practices. Qualifications
Professional Mechanical Engineer (PE) license in California. 10+ years of experience in mechanical (HVAC) design and engineering. Proven leadership in managing design teams and projects. Experience with design-build project delivery and retrofit projects. Proficiency in CAD and BIM tools.
