Ideal Candidate
Minimum of 3‑4 years in a Group Sales Manager role within a large hotel.
Ability to travel on short notice and adapt to schedule changes.
Highly professional presentations and strong oral and written communication skills.
Comfortable working remotely.
Must reside in the Midwest or Northeast and live near a major airport.
This role entails significant travel.
Compensation and Incentives The annual salary range is $115,000 – $130,000. Hilton offers a best‑in‑market Short‑Term Incentive Plan (SIP) to reward employees for contributing to the company’s financial success. The plan includes a quarterly component worth 20% of bonus‑eligible earnings, with multiple individually weighted objectives and a revenue goal of $200 k USD or greater for uncapped payout potential.

What will I be doing? This is a dual‑property role requiring strong sales, communication, and networking skills. The ability to demonstrate a deep understanding of customer needs and then apply a disciplined approach to qualify, negotiate and secure new revenue for each hotel is essential.
Customer and Account Management
Actively engage with Hilton Worldwide Sales and intermediaries to retain existing customers and secure new business for the hotel.
Develop and execute plans to engage in outside sales calls, industry tradeshows, and customer events.
Develop, execute and communicate a monthly, quarterly, and annual business plan for a designated market.
Maintain an up‑to‑date pipeline of business opportunities that meet short‑ and long‑term business objectives for the designated market.
Represent the hotel in all interactions dealing with customers relative to sales, including creating proposals and executing contracts.
Conduct site inspections through masterful storytelling with prospective and existing customers based on their individual needs.
Coordinate customer specifications, enter and maintain pertinent account and booking information in Delphi FDC in accordance with defined standards.
Prospecting
Research, solicit and generate new leads for business opportunities through database research and proactive sales efforts, maximizing new room revenue and meeting and exceeding lead generation goals.
Create and execute a plan to shift market share from competitors.
Engage in outside sales activities to uncover needs, build relationships, and win new business.
Negotiations
Negotiate contracts and commission agreements with end‑user customers and intermediaries.
Provide solutions that both achieve and protect the hotel’s financial goals while strengthening customer relationships.
Engage Hilton Worldwide Sales and Hilton Legal to support the contracting process when needed.
