Salary Range: 81,200.00 – 150,800.00 (USD) As a Test Engineer with Fluke Electronics, you will analyze, develop, implement, and maintain methods, manufacturing operation sequences, specifications, and equipment requirements for calibration and test of new and existing products. You will be a major contributor to and owner of key performance indicators in Operations, including 5S/Safety, Quality, Delivery, Inventory, and Productivity. Support, maintain, and improve test systems throughout the factory. Drive quality through internal and external root cause countermeasure of failures. Develop and implement lean manufacturing practices to drive internal and external metrics (quality, cost, innovation). Identify and drive cost-saving opportunities through redesign and supplier relationships. Advise design engineering of existing production capabilities, equipment, facilities, and standard practices to contribute to the development of new designs. Specify all hardware requirements for test systems. Troubleshoot and maintain electrical I/O and communication boards for various stations. Implement design changes for existing stations as per product requirements. Validate test stations using software and hardware. Provide technical assistance for hardware and software debugging. Review test results and analyze test data from database and improve yields. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or higher from an ABET-accredited institution with a minimum of 5 years of related engineering experience. Good understanding of analog and digital circuitry; RF knowledge is a plus. Leadership experience within a team, project, or job is desired. Ability to handle high pressures, prioritize workload, and understand the impact of duties required. Respond to a metric/goal‑driven environment and take initiative to meet goals. Knowledge of programming languages such as .NET, LabVIEW, Python, VB, etc. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Strong problem‑solving methodology.
