Job Summary: We are seeking a strategic and detail-oriented
Finance Manager
to oversee financial operations within our manufacturing organization. This role is responsible for budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and reporting, with a strong focus on cost control and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of manufacturing processes and the financial implications of production, inventory, and supply chain activities.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the budgeting and forecasting process, ensuring alignment with operational goals and strategic plans.
Analyze financial performance, including cost of goods sold (COGS), production variances, and inventory valuation.
Partner with operations and supply chain teams to evaluate cost‑saving opportunities and improve financial efficiency.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for senior leadership.
Monitor and manage working capital, including receivables, payables, and inventory.
Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting standards (GAAP/IFRS), and regulatory requirements.
Support capital expenditure planning and ROI analysis for new equipment and facility investments.
Lead financial audits and coordinate with external auditors.
Develop and maintain financial models to support decision‑making and strategic initiatives.
Supervise and mentor finance staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (MBA or CPA preferred).
5+ years of finance experience, with at least 2 years in a manufacturing environment.
Strong understanding of cost accounting, inventory management, and production finance.
Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel skills.
Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership abilities.
