Tax Manager
to support tax financial reporting and compliance for both corporate and subsidiary entities. This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of complex tax matters and collaborate closely with leadership on strategic initiatives.
What You’ll Do
Lead the preparation and review of quarterly and annual income tax provisions in line with US GAAP and statutory requirements.
Manage federal, state, and local income tax returns across insurance and non‑insurance entities.
Oversee sales & use, property, and excise tax compliance, plus information filings for foreign entities (Forms 5471, 8865, 8621, etc.).
Partner with the Head of Tax to resolve complex tax issues and drive corporate objectives.
Identify opportunities to minimize audit exposure and improve process efficiency.
Manage and direct 3rd party associates supporting the tax team.
What You Bring
3+ years of experience in tax (Big 4 or large corporate tax department).
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
Experience in the insurance industry is a plus.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; knowledge of Workday Ledger and Oracle.
Familiarity with Oracle Tax Reporting Cloud Service (TRCS) is a strong plus.
