Base pay range $60.00/hr - $67.00/hr
Responsibilities
Design, implement, and maintain database structures, including tables, views, indexes, and schemas using Microsoft SQL Server
Develop complex SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and triggers to support application development and data processing
Optimize database performance through indexing, query optimization, and other performance tuning techniques
Design and develop ETL processes using SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into the data warehouse or operational databases
Ensure data quality, consistency, and integrity across different systems and environments
Monitor and troubleshoot ETL processes to ensure timely and accurate data processing
Perform database monitoring, maintenance, and tuning to ensure high availability and performance
Plan and execute database upgrades, migrations, and patching activities using Microsoft SQL Server tools and best practices
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Master's degree preferred
Minimum of 9+ years of experience in database development and administration with a focus on Microsoft technologies
Proven experience with Microsoft SQL Server, including T-SQL programming, SSIS, SSRS, and Power BI
Proficiency in SQL Server and T-SQL programming
Experience with SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) for ETL processes
Knowledge of SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) for report development
Familiarity with Power BI for data visualization and business intelligence
Experience with database performance tuning and optimization techniques
Knowledge of database backup, recovery, and security management using Microsoft SQL Server tools
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
