Base pay range $125,000.00/yr - $150,000.00/yr
The Operations Director is a key member of the Corporate Operations leadership team responsible for the daily activities of the firm's corporate operations team in support of the company's objectives. This individual will oversee and align various operational centers as directed by the COO including Real Estate and Facilities, Practice Technology, Safety, Fleet & Compliance, Project Management training, and Corporate Operations, including business combination integrations. The position requires continuous coordination with the other Shared Services directors and managers as well as the IT and Security Department Managers regarding shared corporate processes, procedures, and initiatives.
Real Estate/Facilities
Facilitate and support the Corporate Real Estate Manager with lease negotiations and procurement.
Maintain and monitor seating capacities across the LaBella office footprint and coordinate seating changes with new hires and terminations.
Manage office space maintenance, security, and contact landlords to remedy any issues.
Build out new and existing office spaces, coordinating design, bidding, construction, and furniture procurement.
Coordinate office emergency management.
Practice Technology
Facilitate and support the Corporate Quality Manager with quality management and project management programs.
Manage QMS processes, procedures, and committee leadership.
Support the Corporate Project Management Training Program and provide project manager support.
Safety Program
Facilitate and support the Corporate Safety Manager with the safety program, aligning strategy with company objectives and mitigating risk.
Coordinate with division representatives for jobsite hazard analyses, health and safety plans, and required PPE.
Collaborate with HR and divisions on medical monitoring, drug and alcohol testing, and other employee job functions.
Fleet & Compliance
Facilitate and support the Fleet & Compliance Manager with compliance programs and regulatory obligations.
Coordinate strategic fleet management objectives balancing risk, cost, efficiency, and safety, including new, traded, leased, and rented vehicles.
Corporate Operations
Facilitate and support the Senior Operations Manager with operational systems, processes, and initiatives that enable innovative, cost‑effective, efficient work across the company.
Manage software procurement, tracking, issuance, renewal, and reconciliation in coordination with Technology and Shared Services Departments.
Develop operations content and issuance on the corporate intranet and other platforms.
Represent Operations in the integration of business combination entities, ensuring timely, welcoming, and effective integration.
Manage emergency alert system and vendor qualification support.
Coordinate with QMS and Technology Departments for network project folder structure.
Additional Responsibilities
Lead the Operations team annual labor, expense, and capital budgeting process.
Monitor staffing and workload for the Operations team.
Lead the Operations team in Crisis Management, Business Continuity, and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programs.
Participate in LaBella's AI Task Force and Information Security Management Committee.
Requirements Education & Experience
4‑Year Degree in an A/E related industry field or equivalent relevant experience.
Minimum of 15 years of progressive leadership experience in the A/E industry, managing multidisciplinary teams and large‑scale projects.
Demonstrated experience in mergers & acquisitions in the A/E industry.
Proven track record in operational leadership within a consulting or professional services firm.
Skills & Competencies
Experience leading and managing teams, supervising multiple team members simultaneously.
Strong understanding of architectural and engineering workflows and business models.
Exceptional leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Financial acumen and ability to interpret P&L, WIP, and KPIs.
Proficiency with technology and tools relevant to the A/E industry (e.g., Deltek, Newforma, BIM software, ERP systems).
Strategic thinker with hands‑on execution ability.
Salary Range: $125,000 - $150,000
